Tom's Trunks X The Ocean Cleanup
This was a project that was about the visualisation of a shop. We chose the two companies that we wanted to merge. I wanted my shop to be sustainable with a strong focus on the recycling of clothes so I paired a small private company with a large Ocean Cleanup company with the main focus as having a place that members of the public to be able to recycle/up-cycle their old unwanted clothes. The shop was based in a current floor plan on Southampton High Street.

Concept
Woven Planet
The concept that this project was based upon was that of 'Woven Planet' which is a summary of how clothes are drowning the planet and fast fashion is slowing killing the environment.

Digital Collage
This module was trying to get us to explore different ways of visualisation and expression of design ideas. This was a digital collage of the shopfront/display window.

General Arrangement

Floor Plan
This was the general arrangement plan for the shop. It includes a variety of different shelving and hanging space for the clothes to be displayed.

Rendered Floor Plan
Created in Vectorworks this rendered floor plan is a demonstration of how the general layout would look without any clothing in it.

Visual 1
This visual is made in Vectorworks and is of the left hand side of the front door showcasing the clothes second hand clothing metal fish where customers can dispose of unwanted clothes.

Visual 2
This visual is made in Vectorworks and then had certain render accessories added in in photoshop such as the kikoy trousers - which are their main product - on hangers on metal pipes. You can also see the counter and the logo on the wall behind.

Visual 3
This visual was created in Vectorworks and demonstrates how clothing will be stored on shelving along the wall and the table in the centre made from driftwood and therefore maintains that coastal feel of the shop keeping in line with Tom's Trunks brand.

Visual 4
This is my hero image and demonstrates the full visual of the shop standing at the entrance. It was rendered in Vectorworks and then fine tuned in Photoshop where Tom's Trunks specific accessories were added. The wood choice was chosen specifically as it looks like driftwood and the VW campervan as the front for the changing rooms.
